On December 7, Stuart Riback will be on the panel of the New York City Bar Association’s program “The Art of Pleading.” The program will look at things litigants need to consider at the outset of any lawsuit: how to articulate their claims, how to attack claims on legal grounds (by motion or otherwise) and how to defend claims from attack. It will focus on the nuts and bolts of putting pleadings together, some strategic considerations and key differences between state court and federal court pleadings and motions.
