The firm was proud to represent our client, Silverstein Properties, in the recently completed office leasing transaction with the New York City Department of City Planning in its 15 year lease of more than 110,000 sq. feet of space in 120 Broadway, the landmark downtown building also known as "The Equitable Building."  Wilk Auslander Real Estate Partner Jeff Samuels worked with the client on the deal.

Leasing negotiations between the City and Silverstein Properties began in late 2014 and the lease was finalized and signed in mid-2015.  The Department of City Planning moved into the space in November.  Mr. Samuels had this to say:  "It is always a pleasure working with Silverstein Properties.  Their professionalism makes our job easier."

The historic, landmark building, pictured above, stands 40 stories and when it was completed in 1915, was the largest office building in the world.
