Scott Watnik was interviewed in an article published on November 1, 2019 on CNET.com concerning a widely-reported cybersecurity incident involving NordVPN -- “After the breach, Nord is asking people to trust its VPN Again.” In the article, Scott explains that as of now, under the majority of U.S. cybersecurity laws, a cyber “breach” occurs only when personal identifying information is wrongfully “acquired or exfiltrated” – which does not appear to have happened with respect to NordVPN.
