Supreme Court - A Year in Review, 2017 Term
The New York City Bar Association will present a CLE program, "Supreme Court - A Year in Review, 2017 Term," a review of the just-finished term of the United States Supreme Court, on July 18.
Stuart Riback, Program Chair, has put together a prominent panel of Supreme Court practitioners and constitutional law experts to consider significant areas of law and important cases, including:
- Voting and districting
- Separation of powers and constitutional structure
- Criminal procedure and constitutional rights
- Federalism and business
- First Amendment
The program's moderator will be Professor Nadine Strossen, Former President of the ACLU. Panelists will include Professor Richard Epstein (NYU School), Miguel A. Estrada (Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP), Hon. J. Paul Oetken (U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York), Kathleen M. Sullivan (Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP) and Donald B.
