Jeffrey A. Samuels is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in real estate law, representing clients in diverse complex transactions. He specializes in commercial real estate leasing on behalf of landlords, tenants and other interested parties on transactions in and around New York City and throughout the United States.  Jeff's clients include owners, developers, retailers, tenants, banks, brokers, lenders, principals, and investors involved in transactions covering a broad spectrum of real estate activities.

Prior to joining Wilk Auslander LLP, Jeff was a partner with the real estate boutique firm Carb, Luria, Cook & Kufeld LLP. Following graduation from Fordham University Law School, he was a real estate associate with Reid & Priest (predecessor to Thelen LLP).   

• Primary leasing lawyer for a New York City developer/landlord controlling more than 10,000,000 square feet of office and retail space in Manhattan.
• Established and oversees leasing program for cutting edge biotechnology laboratory facility in Midtown Manhattan.
• Recently represented NYC office building owners on the following transactions:
  • 260,000 square feet to international book seller for U.S. headquarters.
  • 265,000 square feet to top law firm.
  • 200,000 square feet to global advertising agency.
• Assisted major national retail clothing company in the leasing of approximately 350,000 square feet of office space in Midtown Manhattan for its global headquarters.
• Represents New York and Connecticut based banks on branch bank leasing programs.
• Assisted in the relocation of a European country's permanent mission to the United Nations to new office space in Midtown.
• Retail leasing lawyer for a New York City-based high-rise residential developer/landlord.
• Represents developer/landlord of retail shopping mall space in Washington, DC and New York City.
